New Plymouth airport is located on Airport Drive, Bell Block approximately 12 kilometres (15 minutes) from the centre of New Plymouth. It is well serviced with daily flights provided by two companies to and from all main New Zealand centres.
Two companies provide regular flights between New Plymouth and other centres.
The airport has an award-winning cafe as well as rental car operators, taxis, shuttles and short and long term paid parking.
Facilities for private planes and helicopters, including hangers and refuelling services (BP/Mobil), are also available.
